National Youth Gathering
The LCMS National Youth Gathering will be taking place in July 2013. Youth between the ages of 14 - 19 are eligible to attend the Gathering. We will be having a meeting after church this coming Sunday (8/19) in regards to the youth group for this year, the Block party, the Gathering and fundraising for the Gathering. If you have a youth who will be eligible to attend the Gathering, please plan to attend this meeting. There will be a significant amount of information presented at this meeting related to the Gathering.
Serve Fellowship and Host Bake Sale
The Youth Ministries will serve fellowship and host a bake sale the third Sunday of each month to earn money for the National Youth Gathering. |

Faith Youth Coming Events/Activities
We have an opportunity to help Here's Life Inner City pack backpacks for kids next week. We would be working with them from 8-9:30pm on Wednesday, August 22. If you, your family, your youth are interested in helping with this project, please let me know as soon as possible.
The Youth will be doing face painting at the upcoming Block Party - September 9
The Youth will serve fellowship and have a bake sale the third Sunday of each month except December.
Several youth from Faith are planning to attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering will be taking place in July 2013 in San Antonio, TX

12:2 Student Ministries is based on Romans 12:2 — "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Faith Youth 7th through 12th graders are learning to be ambassadors of the Gospel in our schools, clubs, families and in every aspect of our lives. We invite you to be a part of it through Sunday morning Bible studies at 10:30 a.m. downstairs in the Youth Club or at one of our many get togethers throughout the year. Keep an eye on the calendar as it is constantly being updated with new events for the group.
